Project Description
The project concerns the promotion of the archaeological heritage of Italian pile-dwelling sites.
The following are planned - in summary:
- Creation of a VR workstation with CGI video production and implementations.
- Advertisement campaign development for Italian alpine pile-dwelling sites in Italy and abroad.
- Developing a school tourism project.
- "G. Rambotti" archaeological museum: rearrangement and rethinking of the exhibition route.
5. Ledro Museum: urban redevelopment project.
- Action to support tourist and archaeological realities of the municipalities directly involved:
a. Municipalities of Desenzano del Garda and Lonato del Garda
Weekly summer tours with visits to Lavagnone, "Rambotti" museum, Lucone site,
Manerba, and Roman kilns in Lonato.
b. Municipality of Arona
Events and tourist routes, digitization of museum content. c. Municipality of Arquà Petrarca
Placement of information panels and QR codes.
d. Municipality of Fiavé
Cover wagon with trolley dating back to the era of peat extraction.
e. Comune di Lonato del Garda
Disclosure and enhancement of the area of the Lavagnone pile-dwelling site and creation of a link with "The Roman Kilns“.
f. Municipality of Monzambano
Implementation of services offered to visitors. Guided tours and promotion of the area.
